The Lafourche Speed Shooters hold monthly Steel
Plate matches on the second Saturday of every month as well as six
ICORE (International Confederation of
Revolver Enthusiasts) matches throughout the year (see table at right for
dates).
All matches are held at the
Southern Shooting
Center in Thibodaux, LA. Registration opens at 8:00 A.M. with Hammer Down
at 9:00 A.M.
Lafourche Speed Shooters yearly membership dues are $25.00 for
individuals and $30.00 for families.
Steel Match fees (effective
January 1, 2010) are as follows:
- LSS Member: $15.00
- Non Member: $20.00
There
will be 11 regular Saturday steel matches,
held on the second Saturday of every month.
The June 12th match will be a PRIZE
MATCH. Shooters
must be LSS classified to go to the prize table. Entry fee is $75.00
(post marked by May 15, 2010) and will be $90.00 after that date.
Anyone
who would like to shoot this match as “fun match” and not compete
for prizes can do so for a registration fee of $20.00.
ICORE Match fees (effective
January 1, 2010) are as follows:
- LSS Member: $17.00 plus
$2.00 for each classifier
- Non Member: $22.00
(excluding the optional $2.00 classifier fee)
SOUTHERN REGIONAL REVOLVER CHAMPIONSHIP
… We will also have the pleasure of hosting the Southern Regional
Revolver Championship on March 20 and 21, 2010. This will be a prize
match with guns donated by Smith & Wesson and many other prizes. The
registration fee for the Match will be $100.00 (post marked by February
15, 2010) and will be $120 after that date. Juniors (under of 18 years
age) fees $55.00. Junior shooters must have a parent/guardian present.
ICORE members qualify for guns as
prizes.
We would like to extend an invitation to anyone
who
enjoys the shooting sports to come and participate in this fun and challenging
sport. New shooters are always welcome.
